What can be said for this trailer other than it has lots of possiblities. I purchased it in the spring of 2005 from someone who was using it as storage and the weeds were just about obscuring the trailer. The interior is completely devoid of anything and will require quite a bit of fabrication to make it usable.
The outer shell has quite a few areas that will need attention from broken and chipped fiberglass to holes that will need filling, windows replaced and a door that needs some repairing.
Here is the Boler at its new home. I’m not sure if it has the original frame as the tongue seems to longer than other Bolers I have seen. I’ll have to measure it and post it here.
The back bumper seems to also be a little larger than other trailers as well. The back window was replaced with a piece of plexiglass that was used as a floor protector for a desk.
Down below the taillights the fiberglass has chipped away quite a bit. It almost seems as if someone had the body off the frame and had problems getting the body back on it again.
This is the inside looking out the left rear window. Between the big window and the small window would have been the sink and below that would have been the furnace. The pipe sticking inside is vent for the furnace. The white pipe to the left of the wheel well is the water tank filler pipe.
This is the front gaucho or second dinette. I’m not sure what was there. I would like to see about putting in the bunkbed option that I have seen on other trailers. They are not overly roomy but they should do the job. I’ll have to do a mockup to have our girls try it and see if they can actually fit in them. The piece of plywood that is covering up the hole would be a great spot for a porta potty that would slide out when needed.
This is where the fridge or icebox would have been. My guess is that there was a fridge there because of the vents that are there. The stove top would also have been above the fridge as well. Above the window would have been some cupboard the total width of the counter. All of the original cupboard, seat bases and closets would have been made from fiberglass. Since there is nothing to start with, I will be fabricating everything from wood. It will take quite a bit longer trying to fit everything together because of the odd angles on every wall.
